These matters were challenging to unravel due to the complex contractual arrangement that was part 'design & build' and part 'schedule of rates'.
William Riakos advised on the implementation of improving commercial management and implementing conflict avoidance strategies on a dredging and reclamation project in southern Kuwait.
The contract that ostensibly transferred all risk to the subcontractor was valued in the order of US$100 million.
