William Riakos oversaw the implementation of improved commercial management, and conflict avoidance strategies for two university faculty campuses (involving four large buildings) with the combined value of both projects being in the order of US$1 billion.

On these projects, William was instrumental in laying out solutions on claims involving:

  • changes to the structural design
  • changes to integrate technological advancements
  • delayed possession
  • delayed change instructions
  • contractor’s all-risk insurance
  • sub-contractor and supplier claims
