Various Projects for Major Transportation Agency

Karen Hoppe managed the operation of the construction contracts delivery program for building, transportation and infrastructure projects at aviation, tunnels, bridges, terminals, ports and mass transit facilities to support multi-billion dollar capital and operating plans for the Agency.

Karen discharged the duties of Chief Contract Engineer as follows:

• Served as senior advisor to executive staff on contract strategies and procurement
• Enforced quality control for contract document content and coordination
• Provided education and guidance on contract terminology to Agency staff
• Implemented standardised procedures for contract document generation and review to maintain project schedules
• Resolved contractual and technical issues
• Revised and updated contract clauses as required
