William Riakos was an integral member of the team relied upon to deliver management solutions for one of two entities that formed the joint-venture (JV) Contractor by influencing the management of the first stage of a two-stage procurement process of this project with an overall value in the order of £1 billion.
The project presented William with the challenge of simultaneously striving to negotiate the terms for delivering a complex mixed-use, high-end, high-rise development for an overseas Developer, as well as negotiating the apportionment of risk between the two JV partners themselves.
Ultimately, the Client was able to settle all the claims between both the JV partners themselves, and between the project developer and the JV entity.
